The door opened, and Cory glanced at him. “Oh hello Octavian. Glad you could make it.” He glanced over him. “You feeling alight?”

"I’m feeling fantastic. Best I’ve ever felt in ages." He replied sarcastically "Yes. I’m fine. Can I come in?"

Cory moved aside, not saying anything, thou he saw his emotions. “Mallory’s upstairs at the end of the hall.”

He nodded, walking to where she was.

The door at the end of the hall was open. Two guys stood by recording equipment, and Mallory was standing in a sound room, a headset on. She saw Octavian and brightened, smiling and waving.

He waved, cracking a tiny smile. It was rare that he smiled.

The men finished, one turning on the equipment. He spoke into an intercom. “Ok miss Saberlinx. Whenever your ready.” She nodded. “Ok. Go ahead.” The man nodded, starting the music. The intro to City on Our Knees, by TobyMac began playing. Mallory closed her eyes, placing a hand on the headset.

"Hey Lizard face!" Arkady said loudly to Krogen as he pulled out Fears tooth sword. "Look who I killed before you woke up?" He asked.

ask-cory-saberlinx answered:

Krogen glanced up, shaking his head. He snarled at the site of the blade, but he shook off the feeling. “That’s a shed tooth idiot. You can’t kill an element. Let alone that one.” He stood up, weary of the blade. “I think you owe me an apology.”

"For what?" He asked. About five guards walked into the room with very heavy armor. "Oh don’t tell me you actually expected me to let you free?" He asked. "You sure have gotten gullible over the years Haven’t you?"

His eyes narrowed. “No I meant for the insult. And I planned that you would break your promise, especially after last time.” His body shimmered green as he walked over to the table casually, picking up his helmet and sword, putting the helmet on and fastening his sword to his thigh.

Arkady chuckled. “You sure I broke it?” He asked as the table glitched like a computer game. “Krogen, You’re still in Isolation.” He said as the enviroment around them changed into a digital vortex. “Look at me.” He said bringing Krogen closer to his face. “I just ask one favor from you, and I’m out of your life forever.” He said.

"Go ahead." He stopped shimmering, his shields now fully online. He placed his hands on his hips.

"If you could ‘Persuade’ those split IFA Rebels to come back to me, I’ll get you a ride back to the fourth." He offered.

He rose a brow. “First off. The way to the Fourth is seal. If you end up here, your stuck here. Second, I don’t want to leave. I have a job here, and I’m going to finish it. Now may you please let me out. I have a job to do, including making the rebels cease.”

"No can do." He said. "I just need you to kill the rebels that aren’t on earth, then vanish like you did six years ago." He said. "Just piss of to some part of the universe no one will give a shit about." He said.

Krogen rolled his eyes. “Alright, alright. Are you going to free me know, or wait till the rebels level Europe?”

She chuckled again. “Well. Maybe I’ll let you stay,” she said to Amanda, smiling impishly.

Sam grumbled whole Amanda latte his shoulder. “Thank you Jeremy. You are ok with me calling you that?”

She smiled. “Yeah. I’m fine with that. But if you start calling me J-Dawg, you’re getting a little too comfortable.” She was referring to that kid she met a few weeks ago. He was weird.

Amanda rose a brow, not quite understanding. “Alright then.” Cory and Sam both laughed. “Don’t worry mom. I don’t think she’ll do that.”

She chuckled. “Alrighty.” She thought Amanda was a good girl, there wasn’t anything she needed to worry about. Besides Mr. Vigrex. She kinda hated him for insulting her.

Cory sat back down, and Sam joined him. They both had the same thought. The women should talk alone. Amanda smiled softly, waiting for Jeremy to start.

Jeremy was a brainless lowlife, didn’t have much to say. “So. How’d you come across my boy?” She glanced up at Amanda. Although she was smaller, she was clearly the one in power here.

"At a science convention in Denver. We litterly bumped into each other, and we kinda hit it off." She blushed some. "I hope your alright with me dating him."

She shrugged. “Dunno. Not sure yet. Maybe you should hang out here more. Then I’ll form an opinion of you.” She smiled, crossing her arms. “You kids and your relationships these days. Know what I got when I was fourteen? A draft notice.” She thought a moment. “Don’t you hurt my son. He’s been through a lot. If you’re dating him now, you better promise me you’ll stick with him thick and thin.” Her flame-colored eyes were cold, serious.

She nodded. “I understand. If I could stick with my father through what he did, I can stick with Sammy. I’ll treat him well, maybe even teach him a thing or two.” Sam groaned from the other room, and Cory chuckled.

She stared at her. “I call him Sammy. Not you.” Amanda, unfortunately, picked the boy with a mom from hell. Literally. She’d been to hell and back. She was a hard ass. She was also so young, she had to pretend to be Sam’s big sister to not attract unwanted attention. But for such a young mom, she was a tough one to beat. Amanda was in it for the long haul.

She frowned. “Oh. I’m sorry. He just like a it when I call him that. If you want me to stop I will.”

She blinked slowly. “Yeah. No. Stop that.” She was mom from hell. Poor Amanda. “Anyway. How long have you guys been together?”

She nodded. “Around 3 weeks. Ark has been gracious enough to let me live with him and Sam since my home burnt down.”

She nodded once. “I see.” They better be sleeping in separate rooms for Amanda, Sam, and Arkady’s sakes. She didn’t even know why Arkady had Sam living with him. He wasn’t Sam’s dad. She really hated Arkady. She hoped he didn’t try to turn Sam against her. Sam not being around hurt enough. She spaced off, thinking.

Amanda rose a brow, snapping he fingers in front if her face. “Jeremy?”

She smiled. “Good morning.” She laid down on his chest with with her head in her hands. “How did you sleep?” She asked with a giggle.

He was still blushing, confused. “I slept very well actually. Ammmm. When did you get in here?”

"Promise not to tell anyone?" She asked a blush droning on both her cheeks. "I have a hard time sleeping by my self.. Because I’m still terrified from the Herobrine hunter killing me." She said with a soft whimper. "I snuck in her last night." She said to answer his question.

He nodded, blushing some and gently hugging her. “I understand. Just kind of surprised me. It’s alright.” He smiled slightly, blushing more.

She blushed. “Thanks..” She giggled. “Didn’t mean to weird you out when you woke up.” She said with a deep red blush.

He blushed too. “It’s ok. Sure gave me a turn thou.” He chuckled sheepishly.

She giggled. “Sorry.” She said embarrassed. Her stomach started to growl. “What was that?” She asked a bit confused. Her stomach growled again wanting food.

He chuckled. “Sounds like your hungry.” He hopped out of bed, pull in out a breakfast sandwich and putting it in his microwave. After a minute, he took it out, handing it to Rose. It was pipping out.

She took it and was careful not to burn herself. She waited a few minutes to let it cool down. She then took a bite. “Mmm. This is good.” She said with a cherry smile.

He smiled. “Glad you like it. I have tons of stuff like that.” He chuckled.
